How To Play KNOWWHERE

KNOWWHERE can be stupidly simply or devilishly difficult, depending on how you play (and who you play with) but the basic aim is the same: match each Country to its Capital City.

What’s in the pack?

37 Country cards
37 Capital cards
4 cards where the Country and Capital share the same name
(can you name them?)
6 Answer cards

You can play with as many pairs as you want to, depending on space and time available but remember to start by taking the 6 Answer cards out of the pack.

Once you’ve shuffled the cards and laid them face down, each player takes it in turns to pick a Country Card (dark blue edge) and then a Capital Card (light blue edge), attempting to match a pair.

If you don’t get a pair, turn them over and leave them in their original position: play moves on to the next person.

You can make pairs by matching country to capital, country shapes or national flags. Once a pair has been made the successful player keeps the pair.

The player with most pairs wins.

These are just the basic rules. You could also try out different ways of playing KNOWWHERE: how about playing against the clock by matching cards in as short a space of time as possible?
