At School

KNOWWHERE is an ideal indoor game to entertain and educate children when it is too wet to play outside. Its size, portability and different playing methods means that it can be used in a variety of exciting ways within the classroom.

Here a couple of ideas that we’ve been told about by one primary school teacher:

1. Hand out one card of a pair to each child as they arrived at school - they have to find their matching pair before registration. What a great way to get children’s minds buzzing (and help them get to know each other) before lessons begin!

2. Use as a starter activity before lessons to quiz children on half a dozen countries and their capitals. (This is also being done at a university with students studying for Tourism and Leisure courses, as well as at secondary schools).

3. If some of the class are rehearsing a play, keep the non-participants busy testing each other with KNOWWHERE.
