KNOWWHERE is an ideal game for families to play together and a great way to encourage children away from the TV and computer. It is fun and encourages a healthy sense of competition and the valuable lesson of losing gracefully.

Playing alone

A child on his/her own can sort the cards out into matching countries and capitals and set a timer to see how quickly they can pair the entire pack (or half the pack for a quicker game).

Dividing the pack in different ways

Players can choose cards representing a specific area of Europe / Americas & Australasia for a shorter game. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see how the games can be divided up.

On the school run

Give a child one of the answer cards and get them to test you and any passengers on the journey to school (a warning to all parents: now is the time to brush up on your country and capital skills – just imagine your child’s delight in catching you out!)
